I ordered some Starbucks vanilla bean syrup for iced coffees. Should be here this afternoon.
Just got back from a quick 9 holes. The club championship starts tomorrow, all the pins are marked which means today's pins are in ridiculous locations we never putt to so the repaired holes won't interfere with play, which makes our greens crazy. And they have been double cutting and rolling the greens all week so they are ridiculously fast. I was happy to be 5 over and we were both happy to call it a day. Plus it's super muggy and smokey today.

are you playing in the championship?
I am relegated to the senior flight which is net and I hate putting up a score and have someone get strokes to beat me. I could declare for championship flight but i haven't played those tees or shot under par for a few years. I'm not 25 any more! Sunday is 27 holes with a cut after 18. I'll follow the leaders for that last nine. The whole membership comes out for that and it's always superior golf.

some of those seniors can still post a good score.
And they turn out to sport a 9 handicap while shooting 75/77 for the weekend. I play with a 2 time club champ who now plays senior flight as a 4. 75 and he can still bang it and up on the senior tees, no less. I never had that smoke. I'm the guy you want in 4 ball or scramble, very consistent tee to green and I'm still a factor greenside. Proud I haven't succumbed to the yips. Yet....

I tried golf and was asked to never do so again! Billiards on the other hand. Let me see I may have a trophy or two laying around from tournament during league days. There was this Saturday night pool tournament at the bar inside a bowling alley. Loved taking their money. Eventually I was not allowed to return. Lovey insisted I get rid of our 8ft pool table, so now all I have is sticks.
Maybe use Jeff's golf ball cannon and a pool stick to putt....
