Good morning

I think we will have used 48 bags of rock when finished. Like $120 plus our labor. Never have to renew mulch again, just keep leaf litter out with a blower. 25 years ago this was a jungle, lawn completely taken over by saplings, broken, half buried concrete walks everywhere; we salvaged a lot of those to pave the veggie garden. Lots of false starts and unfortunate reversals along the way. But I wouldn't have it another way.

Good morning. Off soon to buy the last 11 bags of river rock we need to complete phase 3.5 IV-C of landscaping. My body can't take much more!

We were cleaning up my parents property to sell a few years ago. Back side of the lot went into a ravine with a small creek. Dad had put gravel down beside the creek to pretty it up a bit. After years of neglect it looks pretty rough.

I was pushing a wheelbarrow full of hundreds of pounds of gravel to dump by the creek and rake out. As soon as I hit the slope I lost it lol. got away from me and dumped the entire wheelbarrow on the side of the hill nowhere near where I needed it. We were a little more careful with loads after that. 🤪
