Spent an awesome day turkey hunting on an 8,000 acre piece of property courtesy of the disabled hunting group I belong to. The farm has been in the same family since before the Revolutionary War and was incredible. I didn't get a chance at a turkey but I saw 4 birds, 11 deer, some red tailed hawks fighting and had a really cool guide that did the turkey calling for me. While hunting I had both of our resident foxes stop by my house which is rare during the daytime. I'm betting they have hungry babies back at their den. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
The babies are about to fledge. I'm currently terrified and mom brought in a giant stick since dad was encouraging them to fly a little too soon. Men, what ya gonna do!
