That's the consistency I think you were looking for. Looks really good,let us know how it tastes. Is that mixed strains from collecting? Now at least you have tumbler and can do batches whenever and have great flavors. That Chimera is going to be crazy in keif.
mostly sugarcane from this past year. have you ran chimera?
Working on converting old bud to kief and taking what's left to decarb and infuse into coconut oil. I didn't break up the buds at all. I have a lotof old material to work with.
I will compress it and roll it into a ball. Maybe do the sous vide wine bottle thingie.
the sous vid wine bottle thing works great, you hafta go to the grocery store and pickup the bags people use for putting the turkey in the oven there heat resistant. 180 f seems to work well.

That old kief refuses to press into shape. Fine. I'm just going to decarb and infuse.
I tried to get rosin from it. Kind of darkish. Ill just be decarbing that too!
To console myself I squished a very small bud of Polar Gelato and, oh my, look at that liquid gold! A tasty little treat.

Fill that silicone puck right up with that rosin. Especially being fresh from harvest not to long ago.

Found my hash ball finally after 9 months...guess I stuck it in the fridge with the seeds.
Still nice and gooey, looks like about 10-12 grams
If I hadn't misplaced/ hid, it would be zero grams.

I decided to freeze dry then press the larf from my recent harvest. Not sure what I would get but I'm very happy. I'll freeze the rosin on the glass stamp then it's easy to chip into a container before it melts again. It was probably 4 or 5 grams in 2 runs. Bet I got a 20% return.
I am getting lazy. I left it all on sticks. I'll just bag and freeze it now and press what I feel like.
I also freeze dried some gummies yesterday. Searching for a new texture by shortening the dry cycle. These have a sticky chew compared to regular gummies. They look kind of monstrous but I like the journey.
A few minutes in the freezer and the rosin chips off the glass very easily. Nice looking shards.
