Do not make your own pesticides.

Back in 2010 I came upon some Mexican Brick seeds. Believe me it was a find then. I made a small set up in my closet to get them going. All was well until I started to find these weird jumping white bugs. Well they were attacking my precious plants, so I had to do something.

What I did wrong:
Instead of buying bug killer, I decided to make my own. This involved water, cayane pepper, and a couple drops of dish soap. I dosed my plants with my homemade concoction.

What happened:
I was expecting dead bugs and plants I would need to nurse back to health. What I got was still living bugs and fried yellow plants.

How I fixed it:
I mercifully put them out of their pain.

What I learned:
I learned that making home made insecticides is not for beginners. I would recommend buying Exile by General Hydroponics. It has worked well for me for other projects.

Advise for beginners:
My advice to anyone that wants a successful grow is keep things clean and read some threads in the https://forum.growdolls.com/forums/cannabis-growing-for-beginners.17/

Good luck and happy harvest from Joebud Genetics!
