A few of us use a machine, either Levo or Magical Butter. But a crockpot works really well. Too. Been thinking this place needs more tutorials.

Yea definitely some different methods to make with out a machine and RSO, bubble hash,etc. candy thermometer is a great addition to infused steps

I would like to see that put in a potato gun and shot against a brick wall. Then scrape it off and we can smoke it haha

You could literally stone someone with that thing out of a potato gun lol. I can only imagine the edibles you could make after decarbing some of that. Oh sorry for the late entry to the conversation. Thats a nice ball of hash. Ive just recently started making my own concentrates. Well done!

never done dry sift before this seems much much easier and faster than ice water hash low effort for sure

You just have to know when to stop! That looks perfect. I am processing older bud and it's easy to start sifting green but I'm going for something to make edibles so it's not a concern.

yea ive been doing 15 minutes per run, thoughts on temp to press into a slab? i was doing 180 f before with a sous vide to heat up a couple large wine bottles like a rolling pin with the kief from the ice water hash i was doing before.

I have decarbed the Kief in the past at 220. It makes a nice shiny ball as soon as it's out. Working with older material right now and I'm not heating it but compressing it into pucks using this:
