My AC Infinity Jones

I've had this camera for a few days now and I'm starting to get feedback from it. I'd take its recommendations with a very large grain of salt. For example, it claims that I'm overwatering, but It doesn't know what my medium is. Under recommendations it says let my medium dry out between waterings. You wanna fuck up a coco grow? 'cause that's how you fuck up a coco grow. :ROFLMAO:

Then one day later everything is fine, noting to see here. 🧐

The main issue I see is the image quality. The picture is very washed out from the lights. If someone showed me this pic and asked for help, I'd ask for a better quality pic. before making any suggestions.

The plant growth and bud development are kinda cool. It's not offering any actionable advice. Just a neat metric.

As you can see there is no clawing or pale leaves. It determined that this grow is mid - late flower. Today is the end of week four on a nine week strain.

I don't regret buying it and some of the features are cool. But I think a new grower would be better off seeking help with high quality photos with better lighting.

You get the feeling their sample includes a lot of poorly grown specimens? However the larger the sample the more they'll learn.

They should use gemini or chatgpt for their backend processing.
I got the feeling the "AI" is more a "Rudimentary Intelligence", just based on the simple things that it actually does.
I don't think it anticipates the rate of cooling/heating etc... like what was hinted at in promo material.
It keeps wanting to "optimize" my lighting schedule by changing time, what does it think it's going to accomplish other than screwing with my coffee time?

It changes your time? I'd smash it lol

I have not used the AI function in a while. I found it is not as "intelligent" as a simple thermal controller and also no regard for power consumption. Would run A/C for de-humidification and heater for temperature simultaneously. Never gave it control of the lights. The manual settings for each device works well although the sensor options could use an upgrade. Only other complaint is the plug relays get stuck but not often. Water pump is on a different more dependable controller now. AI controller is a good product which can and should improve for current and future versions.

When I ran a mechanical timer I used to keep it in DST year round
I just keep it at the time that allows me to do my chores in the room. I know not everyone agrees but 24/7 for grow, 12/12 for flower. You can even do it all on the same timer. Set it to 12/12.....in veg switch the override to on and when switching to flower, just turn the override switch off. Kiss
