They were growing a field of lettuce next to where I would walk to high school so I'd grab a head out of the field on my way. It's good for cottonmouth...
So did the bean burritos in the snack shop I swung by, often in my wetsuit, on the way to homeroom.
Those fields are wall to wall houses now.

First meal of the new year. I did all my stirfrying outside this year, but it's too damn cold to stand out there. Sui mi ji, cabbage with chicken and peanuts. Sort of like Kung pao chicken, long time family favorite. Love my new knife sharpener.
I put a boneless leg of lamb in the slow cooker. Never done it, should be tasty. We will know in 10 hours

Made a batch of brownies with cannaoil,hits pretty good. I added a half bag of chocolate chips to batter then some on top half way through cooking. Like fudgey in middle from extra chocolate. @laddyd is brownie professional,I used Duncan Hines fudge Brownie mix. Thinking homemade whipped cream on top would be tasty
