That's awesome.
I have terrible luck with tomatoes at the store. Thankfully I'm always stocked up either. I grow way too many or my neighbor. Even my mother -in-law dumps off a bag or two.It realy was. Tomatoes is a big crop too. There's nothing like a good tomato.....you can't get them at a store. They're just different, just like peaches.
We grow apples and prune every year, that's cool, have to find a spot outside and will have something that hopefully lives for 60 years. Yea being that small probably like 10 years but still fun.I planted some envy and rocket apple seeds a while back. Apparently starting from seed as opposed to a cutting is not optimal. I'm in no hurry to get fruit and can care less if they come out like the apples I ate. So I went for it.

Hopefully they can stay alive long enough to bear fruit. I'm assuming 5 years or so possibly longer hahaha.

Those we're from last year the branches had so many Apple's on all trees they were literally touching the ground. I've never seen so many had to be from all the rain. When they start getting ripe I filled that Kubota that full every week for month and half from five trees, two just planted five years ago. Man if I had a still id make brandy just cost of copper and knowing how to build one. Those apples look fantastic! Wish I had that little Kubota as well...

Yea that's something have to look into. Still want a small still to run just have to YouTube how to cut and solder it. Thump keg, cap, barrel, then mash up apples and yeast, sugar and water for a week.Pretty simple really. Wash and rinse apples. Chop up and crush apples, then put that mush in a press to extract the juice. Ferment juice. Take that fermented juice in the still. You can also freeze the water out of that juice. A still is "hot distillation" where as freezing it is "cold distillation" if not fermented properly cold distillation can leave you with off flavors and a headache.
