When my mom sold her house and moved in with my sister, she gave me her houseplants… and fungus gnats!

Yea I remember you saying that,I think I saw some spider plants the variegated ones up high. Those trailing ones are philodendron. Aloe the cactus type,good for sunburn,cuts,just cut a piece and rub on spot. Forget what that one is called in blue stripe pot,I like it,,cool leaves. That Christmas cactus is old,looks great. This Christmas cactus flowered beautifully this year. Kinda nice to have a punch of pink in the winter.
Mine have been blooming crazy ever since I moved to different spot, usually doesn't like to much direct sunlight but these do. I propagated a few from old ones that got hit with frost from losing power for 3 days.
Yea, they grow fast as hell. Peruvian Torch is a close relative. Make tea with some mint and chamomile.
I have another planter full, waiting till warmer weather to get them going again.
You can water them once a day like hydro, really take off. I'd grow these everywhere if I lived in AZ or CA.
I've ordered couple times from here, best prices for nice starter plant cuttings.
Get some nice fresh tops in the spring and root them, they would cost a fortune at a garden center.

I planted some envy and rocket apple seeds a while back. Apparently starting from seed as opposed to a cutting is not optimal. I'm in no hurry to get fruit and can care less if they come out like the apples I ate. So I went for it.
Hopefully they can stay alive long enough to bear fruit. I'm assuming 5 years or so possibly longer hahaha.

I love apples. My grandfather's farm has a pretty good size orchard. A bunch of acres. We used to have peaches also but something killed them, I wanna say early-mid 2000's. I remember growing up walking through the trees and just grabbing whatever you wanted.....peach juice down to the elbow and chin.
