Week 3 in the test grow
1300ppfd going for 1400 if weather permits. Everything looks very nice and homogenous with little difference between sides. Connecting buds.
And back here at mine im busy drilling profiles for another light like last one, different spectrum and monos but same 12 strip build. Dimmers, leds and drivers all sourced, build day is monday or tuesday.
Oops, i think i missed the 4 week update so here we are with 5 week update:
1300ppfd /35 days/1.3 vpd.
Buds look chunky and close to finishing. Theres been some thrip damage but not too bad. Currently at 12:45h light /11:15 dark. About 2 weeks left.
Lightbuilding: didnt get to finish it last week so im away tomorrow onsite to do some final soldering and installing.

Next up hopefully, if aliexpress keeps their shipping dates, will have a new element: real infrared leds, wanting to try 850/810/940 and 970nm in some different combos.
I thought it was around 815? In any case, the ir diodes tend to be not very spikey at all, cover a fairly broad range. The idea is to test out 850 and 940, just cause they are somewhat previously tested - 810 to sort of target that hps spike (it may give far red response somewhat), 970 in order to target the water abortion spectrum to simulate drought stress and see if there is anything cool activated : drought and over transpiration may induce extra wax and trichomes. I dont know but i wanna see it tested luckily my tester buddy is very much into trying stuff out- we are both into the diy aspect so the quest for the ultimate led grow light is very much on
