I bought this clock in a market stall in Delhi in 1980. Commonly referred to as clipper clocks because the clipper ships in the 19th century that were bringing tea and spices and textiles and jewels back from the east went outward laden with moderately fancy manufactured goods like this. It runs, it's loud, I don't wind it. TICK TICK TICK TICK BONG BONG BONG BONG.

All that top flight equipment at high school wood shops got tossed when the internet came out, no one knows how to run a bandsaw anymore.

Well not exactly tossed. It was expensive but still better and less expensive then new. They also got rid of so many things like kilns, sewing machines and other forms of education.

The number of big ass pickup trucks that stopped to grab it then realized it was empty and threw a dirty look at my house made me realize it was a mean trick I didn't mean to play. 50°s and sunny later......clear and 30°s now.

Been out in my shop since 5am. On my way out I saw a shooting star. Have a show tomorrow so I'm trying to get a bunch done. Tomorrow is also my daughter's birthday so lot's to do for that. I need a day off lol
