Our storm total is 1.7" of rain, it's 49 out this morning due to it being overcast all night. Last of the clouds are breaking up so hopefully we'll get some sun this afternoon.
Roxy has had her bone and topped it off with a visit to her food bowl so it's nap time for her.

The rat trap I put out in the garage is MIA. I guess I'll take Roxy out there and see if she can track it down. She hunts in the backyard all the time, worth a try anyway.

Sounds like you might have a California King hangout had a friend in Sunland that lost I think like 5 traps before he seen his guest

I had a small one that spent the winter between a couple boards on my back patio retaining wall. We kept it for awhile until it escaped into my second garage, that was years ago however.

I had a Blue Jay that figured out he could take the mouse and the trap and still fly. I lost 2 or 3 traps before my security cameras caught him stealing one.

Tie a long fluorescent string to it. That way it's harder for them to hide it from you.
