Sorry to have missed chat again.

Miz Chiz was hosting her Mahjong game at our crib. Hence, took the boyos to Christie Pitts for dinner al fresco and to watch some baseball.

Beautiful night out with the doods.

Finally got the PH pen yesterday. After calibration, my input ph is 6.7, so while it's not 7, I'm hopeful this will get it back in line a little.

The other three plants are chuggin' and having a blast, so this little B45 is gettin' up my nose a little ;)

It got up to 90 in the tent yesterday evening. I might have to increase the frequency that the swamper runs.
Plants are powering through, they look kind of tormented actually.

Looking pretty good considering the environmental struggles.
 
Garlic harvested. Broccoli chopped... the 3rd year of F-N bolting:mad: Going to try a fall planting, and next year may go with a sun shade..I will Not be Denied !! And I think next year I'm going to grow some sun loving mushrooms, because that goes so well with broccoli... and garlic

Ones that can grow in the sun instead of shade.

Top Sun-Tolerant & Heat-Loving Mushrooms:
  • Wine Cap / King Stropharia (Stropharia rugosoannulata): Also known as the "Garden Giant". It is one of the easiest mushrooms to grow outdoors and is highly tolerant of partial to full sun, provided its woodchip or straw bed is kept adequately moist. It thrives as a companion plant in vegetable gardens (e.g., around tomatoes or corn).
  • Almond Agaricus (Agaricus subrufescens): A hearty, high-protein mushroom that loves warm conditions and thrives in greenhouses or high tunnels where it receives ample light and warmth.
  • Pink Oyster (Pleurotus djamor): A tropical, fast-growing mushroom that handles high summer heat and can produce flushes within a week.
  • Dryad’s Saddle (Cerioporus squamosus): Often found foraging on dead or living hardwood during the spring, this species can handle warmer, brighter exposures than delicate shade-dwellers.

I struggle with broccoli, it either flowers or gets worms. Growing collards and they get the same attention from cabbage moths. But we eat the greens young and it's easier to get worms off leaves than flowers like broccoli.
 
just back from the candy store. they had one gram carts for 12. my wife is stocked up. I got something called red eye, sounds good at 32.5%
The lights are perfectly synchronized so if you go the speed limit you will get 11 red lights in a row. Ah but kick it up to 10 over and you get all greens. They are training us to be scofflaws.
