Lake Shore Boulevard West will be closed in both directions between Bathurst Street and British Columbia Road from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
I'm getting pretty tired of this. And I doubt we'll see any benefit from these soccer games.

I'm getting pretty tired of this. And I doubt we'll see any benefit from these soccer games.
I went into the office on Wednesday, and even when I left at around 5:30pm Liberty Village was buzzing. All sorts of vendors, food trucks, activations, etc.
I’m sure the city will make out okay with tourist dollars and ancillary revenue. But I really hope this puts to rest any Olympic bids for the city of Toronto.
Good morning all, glorious weather here, I plan to spend it gardening. Everyone will be jamming up the golf course and I'm pretty into my dawn patrol solo rounds. Once a week with other humans is enough (Tuesdays) especially since all they talk about is hunting, fishing and hockey, 3 languages in which I lack even the most rudimentary proficiency.
I have to admit I just about had a meltdown when they shutdown the DVP and Gardiner for cyclists at the end of May. They have to stop holding these events here. Do it in places where it doesn't impact millions of people.
There is a road running through my golf course. A quiet lane has increased traffic due to houses being built. Now they are adding a bike trail, curbs and a sidewalk. To play the course one must cross that road 4 times. It's going to be interesting to see how long before we get a golf cart/bicycle collision.

Had a bit of a disaster yesterday. Opened the tent and noticed I couldn't see three plants. 
All the plants in the back row had fallen over. I was sorta hoping the the walls and surrounding plants would hold them up but no dice. Lost a few nice colas, but on the bright side it's less to trim now.

I'll be in Denver in a week for work and actually at a Rockies game on the 23rd. I'll make a point not to try it

It's the last stop on the tour and we are nearing the end of our time in the snow cappers ... the town of Revelstoke.

Sunday, we return to Kelowna for one final night in the middle of the province then we fly home on Monday AM.
