I should grow luffa. I'm going extra vertical this year.I just went through that to.. I've got a luffa plant that I can't put outside until June (hopefully) it's got to be like 7 feet tall, but I had to grow it out sideways to keep it in the light. I just hope it makes it that long.
I'm going to let it grow along a fence.. hopefully I get some. My toms-cukes- peas and pole beans iI grow up a trellis.I should grow luffa. I'm going extra vertical this year.

That's a first! No cruise ships for me. Gonna have to burn that ship in open sea to get all the mice.
It can stay active in dried droppings for long time.

These arches are key to my style. Beans, cukes, Toms, now maybe luffa. Thinking of going vertical with canteloupe melons this year too. Minnesota Midgets shouldn't get too heavy.
Love the sign!Very Nice.
I'm starting my 4th year of a 4 year plan to build my soil and a closed loop system for self sustainable gardening... I have clayey soil.. so building upwards to take advantage of clays ability to hold on to nutrients... this year i'm going to plant flowers around the outside for pollinators, predators and maybe some beneficial teas. Added some comfrey this year for composting and nutrients and also for my indoor flower grow. Dumped wood chip around the beds so I'm hoping they establish a fungal network for long term benefits. Next year's plan will be more about aesthetics. Last year's garden.View attachment 15971
"Cherry tomato" watermelons that taste like cucumbers with a hint of a lime flavour.I just looked up "mexican sour gherkin" from the free seeds I planted today, not a cucumber or melon.
Glad I found out now, need to dig up some more pickling cuke seeds, lol.
Native Mexico to Venezuela, tons of crazy little fruits. ~75days

Mexican Sour Gherkin Organic Seeds
When a vegetable is as adorable as Mexican Sour Gherkins, cute nicknames pop up as plentifully as fruits on a vine.
