Star Island wants me to come out early this year to work, gonna be a much colder ride on the boat. Plus the stoner crew that act as porters isn't there yet.
At least they feed you well for lunch and have endless coffee.

We in danger. I walked home in an unseasonably warm soaker. Missed all the rain while golfing but weatherproofing everything right now. Baseball size hail is popping up in cells. Havent I been through this recently.

Yeah, just a regular old eastern gartersnake. We don't have many snakes around here up in the mountains.

I rescued a giant gartersnake from the dog in the back yard, it had to be almost 3 feet long. Had to look it up because I'd never seen one that large before, guess they aren't uncommon around here.

We have the black with a yellow stripe ones. My high school colours ... call them the Thornhill Secondary snakes.

Max and I used to see them slither through the thicket on his forest walks. The occasional 3 footers too. Those specimens just moved louder.

Super foggy here after a sumptuous stormy night. Golfing for the third day in a row. I once had golf galoshes with holes in the bottom for spikes. Could use em today but modern golf shoes are much more weatherproof.
