I am nice and full now lol Lunch, a couple beers and a joint

I went to a new sugar woods that the guys are going to manage this season. The guy that put everything in died. So everything is new to us......confusing as hell. The tubing is definitely not run as neat as the woods we are usually in. Plus it was a cold icey freezing fog/rain.....the snow is almost bottomless in spots with a crust you sometimes broke through.....kept you on your toes.....or nuts....you never knew
This is pretty cool.

Don't know how that hasn't come down yet in this winter. Cool to see with the snow on it

And these woods have been tapped for many years. You take taps out at the end of every season. Sometimes one gets missed I guess. The guy's said that was probably a 80's-90's era tap.

I know from woodworking that when a old maple gets milled into lumber tap holes are desirable for many projects.
