the ceiling in our downstairs den had these foam squares glued in place. Sorta like the pic below. We spent a whole weekend trying to scrape them off... eventually threw in the towel and had drop ceiling installed to cover it up. I'm pretty sure they used construction adhesive to install them.

Yea we called them a dugout,came in handy,grind up some throw in one side and one hitter fills it up and ready to roll.
