Was outside about 1:00 AM having the final smoke of the day ... lapper showed -23C. My cheeks started hurting within seconds of stepping outside. I suppose you really gotta love your craft to willingly stand out there for 15 mins ...

Even a chapstick will work well. Better for extended periods over the Vaseline because it has spf. Snow and ice will give you a bad sunburn.
I use a product called dermatone
But it might be hard to find unless you have a ski shop close.
