Working the little tent yesterday.

GG#4 mom continues life.

I have Floraflex 1 pint pots and they suck! Spikey feet that don't really play nicely with the ribs in propagation trays. Dremel to the the rescue.

these are the 1/2 gal Flora cap pots ? What are the pot dimensions, minus spiky feet ?

thank you
I ordered another bundle from Floraflex , 16 x 1gal, they are out of the 1gal & want to substitute to 1/2 gal.
4x4x5 might work better for clones any way.

They're perfect for clones. I just pulled this GG#4 out of the cloner last week. I wouldn't want to flower on it in tho.

Switching completely to FF? I'm so happy with this system. Other than their anti siphon valve... that thing let me down, no I just have a hole in my line in the res.

I'm going to chop the weekend of the 7th. I was expecting three weeks but they're almost done. I'm not going to run clones unless I use a trellis in the future. The chunky pheno is starting to fall over.

I have four of this pheno. The buds are so tiny. Lots of trichome production tho

yes, just for clones, too small to flower in.

I ordered 2x12 count, 2gal Floracap to spread over 3 flower tents, 8 per.
I'll use the 16 - 1/2 gal Floracap for clones,

and I already have a buttload of these..

that the 1/2 gal caps should fit fine in for breeding projects.
I also ordered new pumps for all.

What problems did you have with the bleeders ?

Im waiting for some shade cloth to line the bottoms of the 2 gal pots, the drainage holes seem to big & running cloth pots inside or out does't make me tingle.
I use Promix & Im sure the runoff would be messy without a liner.

I had an issue where the the bleed valve stuck closed and it siphoned most of my res into the table. I capped the valve and went with a simple hole in the pump line.

I always used a simple hole in the line at the res too.

Pump:

660 GPH 35W Submersible Water Pump, adjustable

@curious2garden suggested that for my diy orbit manifolds. I thought the anti siphon valve looked cool, should have just stuck with what worked.

I’m concerned your pumps are underpowered.

I got this pump for my drip system but it was woefully underpowered for FF. I’m still using it in the veg tent but it’s just a trickle and the 4” flora caps a pretty small so it doesn’t matter.

I use this one in the 5x5 with nine plants using the t fittings. I get 19 psi from it, the little pump didn’t even register 1 psi in the veg tent

I did have to make one minor mod. With the big pump the lines jump as it initially pressurizes the system and I had a line pull out of the flora clip. I fixed that with rubber grommets at the end of each line.

I did a test of the new plumbing with this basic aquarium pump, 9 plants.
Using the Floracap’s
Worked fine

I’ve ran the small aquarium pumps with a 4 foot rise, to 9 plant's per tent for years.
Never had a problem
Pretty much the same here!
I was just talking to Annie and she said she’s running a similar pump. Now you guys have me wondering if I always had a bum pump
It could be that. If you still have the old pump you could check.
