Tonight we are chopping gelato 41. Strange looking plant, it is either seeded or not at this point.
We successfully pollinated macaroon x Gazurple, dancing lime, kosher kush and blue cheese with a dancing lime male. I'm hoping the gelato took, finding out tonight.

Yes indeedy we've got seedies. Gelato 41 is loaded with seeds. It was a strange plant. It suffered with too much water. when it recovered we were in 12-12. It just made one big fat bud with no division between nodes. Evidently the Dancing Lime male was fertile as a turtle. Every plant that got rubbed made seeds.

I have the lights at 50% in preparation for my dads visit, don't ask don't tell. I picked a few of the lower buds to see how we're doing. We doing just fine. I needed to quick dry enough for some brownies, extract seeds, sample etc.
The plan is to run the exhaust at level 2 with some blankets to deaden any noise. The circulation fans are on timers to run through the night when no one will hear them. From 10 feet away you can't tell it's running. I think the plants will be fine for a couple of weeks. They are all just about ripe anyway..

Are those a purple phenos or pink hue to the flower. Had a few friends that were. Those had to be in your stash, website says none available.

I looked at the calendar wrong. Dad is here for two more weeks.
Gonna have to stretch them out for 2 more weeks. They are going to be some ripe plants.

Smoke report on Gelato 41.
She was dripping with resin when I chopped her. Dried out to these solid chunks of dark resin. Just eating my grinder up.
Taste is dank gelato with some hash notes. Extremely potent. Crossing Bob's Dancing Lime with her has the potential to be fire. We're gonna test that!

Argh. I had to trash 3 tops, mold. Looks like it was just the 3 and only the very top. The rest of the plant looks ok. I think I caught it early. I need to harvest.
How long does it take them to dry if you just kill the lights and does it make them stink worse? That is my question.
