Bob Bitchen’s Beans Community Journal.

I don't remember my previous SOG getting so tall. I went back and looked, no doubt about it this group is a lot taller. The Wheeler Werx and mint Cake poop must be sativa dominant, that and me not noticing the timer being off gave me extra veg time. The Dancing Lime would is shorter and more manageable.
last crop and this crop. You can see last crop didn't get as high as my spreader bars. this crop well past with 4 weeks or so to go.View attachment 6797View attachment 6798

Wow! Look at them!

Very nice nuggage with nice size all the way down. New crop seems to have same depth but a little more legs, to me this is a plus for managing rh below and in cannopy. Very very nice, D :)

The evolution of a clone.
Part of this journal is a clone I made from a bud. I was hoping to get some seeds but it didn't take. So at the very last I took the least developed bud and split it in thirds and planted it. Two sections sprouted and here is the result.

last pic is the original, the result of a Macaroon x Gazurple cross that rodelized and mutated. One of 3 seeds she produced. The clone mothers are outside in their SIP pots. I almost killed them several times and yet here they are.

Planting buds for clones is insane! Never heard of it, this is going straight for my group chat as Freaky Cant even Believe it.
Props!!

You can almost smell the limonene in that photo

We started with Kool bloom on 5 plants today. I'm going with 1/4 tsp Kool bloom with 1/2 tsp Maxi bloom per gallon of tap water. the rest of the plants get 3/4 tsp Maxibloom. The Wheeler Werx is forming some sick buds. This is a frosty group. A couple of weeks left on my crosses, looks like another month or so on Bob's beans. Here's a pic of the big WW and a group pic of the happy tent.

Yesterday was 5 and 7 weeks of flower in the tent.
I have some more pics
I supercropped one of the Wheeler Werx and this is the result. Also have a Dancing Lime. Then the Frostzilla and MCP in the back. It looks like the MCP might want to foxtail. If it does I'm just going to chop it, they are really chunky as is.

How bad is your heat this time of year?

We're getting close. Buds are swelling and getting hard. On Monday I'm chopping at least one of the MCP's and maybe one of the dancing limes. The smell is spreading more than I like. I had a guy come to the door seeking yard work. We have a regular gardener so I sent him away. As he was leaving he said smells nice bro. Group shot then MCP then Wheeler Werx

We had an event. I am losing some fan leaves on some of the WW. I let them get a little dry and accidentally pulled one of the plants out of it's pot. 2 days later some fan leaves turned yellow. I think we still have enough foliage to finish flowering in a timely manner. I hate to lose fan leaves, it's been my experience that the longer everything stays green the quicker they finish. Looks like a couple of more weeks. Currently we are feeding them 1/2 tsp Maxibloom with 1/4 tsp Koolbloom every 2 to 3 days. It's been a trouble free grow, Bob's beans have performed admirably.
This will probably be the last SOG I do. It's too labor intensive to manually water and I can't afford an automatic system, plus there just isn't room in the bedroom.
Next grow we will go back to 4 gallon SIP pots and just 4 plants. So far it looks like we will be running Slymer, and Gelato 41 and that is all the good seeds I have left.
Dancing lime, Dancing lime, Wheeler Werx, 2 sativa leaning Wheeler Werx and a group, shot Hail Bob!
