Bob Bitchen’s Beans Community Journal.

I have some serious trimming to do this morning. Soon as the grandson is off to summer camp I need to get busy. everybody is flowering, I ended up with one male and 10 females from Bob's beans and 5 females and one male from my cross. Kudus to Bob, those are some beautiful looking plants bro, thank you! let the stretching begin.

super cropped and trimmed. I took off the lower side branches and some of the lowest fan leaves. I find that if you lose the main fan leaves your flower growth slows down considerably. I'm shooting for 16 central colas. The canopy is almost even, Bob's beans are really starting to stretch. I imagine if you let them veg for a while they would get huge. As this is a SOG grow I started them on 12-12 so they don't get huge.

I have concerns with 2 of the Dancing Limes.. They look droopy, I'm not sure why. Definitely getting some lime aroma now. one of the Wheeler Werks is 4 ft tall now [6 weeks old]. Did some watering and trimmed a few fan leaves, not enough no doubt. Having to water every other day now.
I'm feeding them 1 heaping tsp of maxibloom per gallon of tap water till I get runoff. Every 2 days. The medium is Sunshine mix #4 with added perlite. I have to pull a few plants to get to the ones in the back.

Dancing lime is stacking nicely as is the Wheeler Werx. DL looks indica dominant and the WW is more leggy. at this point I don't need labels, the plant structures are consistent within the strains I.e. DL short and squat indica and WW leggy sativa dominant hybrid. smell is pungent limes.

I don't remember my previous SOG getting so tall. I went back and looked, no doubt about it this group is a lot taller. The Wheeler Werx and mint Cake poop must be sativa dominant, that and me not noticing the timer being off gave me extra veg time. The Dancing Lime would is shorter and more manageable.
last crop and this crop. You can see last crop didn't get as high as my spreader bars. this crop well past with 4 weeks or so to go.
