Bluelab EC Truncheon

Ordered a new tool, looks a little more practical for reservoirs and larger batches.
Easier to use running in and outside without losing a probe cap in the dirt etc.
Runs up to 6.0 EC
Anyone ever use these before?

For me the Bluelab Guardian is great. I like continuous monitoring of my res. The wifi version isn't necessary. AC Infinity has moved into integrating water monitoring and automated adjustments recently.

i have a bluelab box that does a stik for ec and temp, and another glass tipped probe for checking substrate, and phing water. its alil specal in the fact that it can be stuck into the substrate to monitor ph.

They recommend cleaning the electrode once a month, rinse it after each use...that's it.

its been goin strong for about 3 years, never had to even change the probe yet, just calibration once a year and i usually forget to do that too!
