Testing additives La Bomba clones

That is a wrap on this grow! Everything came down Saturday.

My early impression of floralicious is that it works. My plants were much more dense and trichome packed than my previous La Bomba run and they remained healthy right to the end. I'm currently dying a rack traditionally so I can see if here is any flavour difference between this and my last La Bomba grow, freeze dried isn't really a fair comparison.

Been puffing on freeze dried weed from this grow the flavour and high is insane!

Figured I’d wrap up this thread and share a few pics of the finished bud.

This grow was about testing Floralicious and seeing if it earned a spot in my regular nutrient routine. Floralicious Plus claims to “stimulate flower development, fruit swelling, and the production of aromatic oils, improving quality and yield.”

YMMV, but that just wasn’t my experience. The plants stayed healthy through the run, but the end result was basically indistinguishable from my previous La Bomba grows — same size, flavour, and potency.

The biggest downside for me was the mess. I run inorganic nutrients, and buildup in my lines has never been an issue. With Floralicious, I ended up with a brown, slimy film in the lines, which I really didn’t love. I could see it being less of a problem in a hand-watering setup, but even then, the gains felt pretty marginal. Between the cost by volume and the short shelf life, it just doesn’t make much sense for how I grow.

Overall, it didn’t hurt the plants, but it didn’t bring anything noticeable to the table either — so it won’t be part of my regular rotation going forward.

Couple bud shots.

That's been my experience with boosters as well. Maybe I missed it but what was the ppm of the Flora on it's own that you added into your mix ? I can't prove it but it's my experience that simply adding molasses to my grow has shown the best results of any additives I've added.. Even in Coco. And it only costs pennies.
