Since room is finally up and running again, I thought I should update/reiterate some of the specifics.
- Seedling 2x2 AC Infinity (ACI) tent with IONBoard light and ACI 6” circulation fan and ACI 4” duct exhaust fan.
- Flowering Lights = DIY build of 8 QB272 boards with two 600W PS. over a 4'x6' area.
- Medium = Coco coir/perlite 70/30 mix. in 2 gallon Floraflex pots.
- Watering system is automated with timing starting out at 3 times per day and increasing to 5 per day. Pump is a 800 GPH impeller pump.
- Nutrients are Megacrop 1P, Epsom salt, touch of dawn and a pinch of pool shock. Bud explosion will also be added in flower.
- Nutrient reservoir is a 55 gallon poly drum filled to ~50 gallons. This will last 7-10 days.
- 25W Air pump provides reservoir oxygenation with PH/TDS monitored with Bluelab Guardian.
- Water from a community water coop with 6 wells. Water will run thru sentiment filter. No RO.
- Room is heated by a 1500W oil filled radiant heater (which a fan is always directed at)
- Cooling by floor model 8000BTU AC unit vented to garage.
- The room has 5 clip-on fans. One in seedling tent, two directed at flowering area and two mounted to lights to circulate warmer air to plants.
- Two ACI duct fans for incoming and outgoing air flow are set to 82°F.
- ACI T7 humidifier is used only when absolutely needed since distilled/RO water is needed.
- Uninterruptible Power Supply for pump and AI controller. Should provide several hours (maybe days) of power.
- Power is supplied by two 20A GFCI circuits. One for heat and AC and single fan. With power consumption at 1510 Watts or 12.6 Amps.
- Power consumption for flowering at 1749 watts or 14.6 Amps for 4 clip fans, 2 duct fans, 2 DIY lights, humidifier, water pump, cameras, UPS, air pump ph/TDS monitor and AI controller.
- Power consumption for seedlings at 382 watts or 3.2 Amps for 1 clip fan, 1 duct fan, Ionboard light, humidifier, cameras, and AI controller.
- Currently, the pump is set to run for 30 secs every 8 hours.
The AI controller will eventually control/monitor everything other than water replenishment, ph adjustment, cleaning and plant care.
In need of a robot for trim jail!
Planting seed in ground would be so much simpler but then I would be bored not keeping this juggling act going!
