Shane's Vegetable Farm

This is really taking off. While I have 1300 watts available, I run the lights at 60% 18 hours a day and everything seems to like it. 4 basil plants on the top row are finding their feet, lettuce and strawberries are doing their thing. Tomatoes probably heading toward out of control in another week.

Not to be that guy but my concern is for your safety. Electrical cords on the floor, where water will run if something leaks, is not a good idea.

Jim was in the 1952 film Don't Bother to Knock, with Marilyn Monroe. He came home one night during the filming and told me that Miss Monroe in her most seductive breathy voice asked him to meet her in her dressing room. His curiosity got the better of him and he went. Once there, she exclaimed like an excited child, 'Do Mr. Magoo!' And Jim did."

You are right. That cord was supposed to run up a support. I didn't finish the job.

I like these for all my cords and the strings on the light hangars.
Keeps everything tucked away up top or against the side walls.
When you raise the lights, you don't have to screw with all the strings or watch the power line.
Plastic snap part goes around the cords, usually toss the metal rings

We appear to have spawned a tomato. The top one has a distinct swelling.

I got a decent number of berries this morning. The plants need some attention but the yield is increasing. I would like to figure out the deformed fruits. Is it nutrition or cultivation or what. These were selected from a larger group
