Random Stream of Consciousness

That was the big "5 post" Sugar Maple in our front yard on Saturday morning. Sunday morning, the winds kicked up a bit and by the evening, all that colour was on the ground.
None of these leaves were here yesterday. Probably half of what's up in the canopy still.

Then I see people raking leaves and shoveling snow.
Snow? Leaves? Pshaw!! Have your Bio-nest discharge alarm go off at 2:28 AM when the COP/Diesel blend has reached it's pinnacle and it's dark AF where the tanks are.

This was all green Saturday AM ...

Add a big shop and you get to heat two too :ROFLMAO: I have one more cleanup before it snows....then plows and shovels come out.
I am guessing you heat that shop with wood stove? How big is the shop? Is it insulated? Thought of installing a ceiling mounted propane heater in my 1500 sq ft metal shop but thinking I should spray foam insulate it first. Or I could put an old wood stove to use in there but the stove needs work first.

I don't own a shovel or a rake.
How do you bury the bodies without a shovel?

My first house had a large yard, 3/4 of an acre. Lots of big trees. Never again.
Now we have a gravel yard. It struggled during the hot summer months but pulled through in the end.
Some day I will contract out what I do but for now it's what motivates me to do shit. Getting closer to done. Maybe when I complete.that terrace project. We can't really plant anything til spring andI have cool weather to work in.

The shop is just over 2000 sq ft. Propane....I'd like to put a wood stove in upstairs. But that would only be good for when I'm in there. The propane would be good overnight. And yeah upstairs is insulated well. 2x6 walls.....downstairs is almost all cement walls though. And the doors face north so downstairs is always cold.
