Nah, we’re doing a lunch thing at my Sisters in Burlington tomorrow with my Mum, but that’s it.
I love myself some turkey, but it’s a PITA meal to prep, clean up etc.
I’m thinking I’d like to do a good ‘ol fashioned beef stew. That might be a Sunday put together.
We’re also having our annual meet up with Levi’s birth mother on Sunday. Not sure how many more of these we will do as Levi gets older.

I like that our Thanksgivings are so far apart. I do a frozen pre-stuffed turkey for US thanksgiving.
I get jealous seeing everyone have turkey

Good morning. Not going to be chilly here but Tuesday we slide into the depths. I will pick the last of my tomatoes tomorrow, ripening or not. Probably finished with golf this year too. I need to finish the landscape restoration and there is still much to be done to make it stable over winter.

With the arrival of colder weather, the chop plan starts to come into focus.
Since the dry happens off site and I’m going to Halifax on the 23rd, coordination is key.
Based on what I’m seeing, think these go for another week and a half and come down on the 22nd. Hang ‘em before departure. Deal with upon return.
I’ll start the dry KB this week.

Road Trip Saturday!
We are off to the Collingwood area in a little while - just because it's there and we haven't seen Georgian Bay in a while. And on the way, pick up a few Apple Crumble Pies from Fernwood Farms in Stayner. Pie crust bottoms, Northern Spy guts and a cinnamon/brown sugar top.
I always get a jolt about it being Thanksgiving already
