Whip-it-Out

Early frost. And a nice swollen knuckle.

We've had some learning experiences recently in the DGL. And a couple of I knew better than that moments.
The seedings in the malwart JAWS soil are doing fine. I have had to rescue the plants in the happy frog soil.
I knew it looked too dense but I went with it anyway. I ended up shaking all the dense happy frog out and gently refilling with a much looser blend of happy frog, jaws and mucho perlite. They have started to green up and grow again. I think they will be ok. In the mean time I had put a couple of more seeds on water and put them in my ice chest along with some germinating herbs. Picked it up to move it and the handle came off and everything got mixed together.

Alrighty, looks like everyone is no worse for wear after the weekend.

Weather looks good for the balance of the week, so I have the luxury of a little time if needed. Liking the progression. I’ll check with the scope for shits to see how we’re looking microscopically….

First pic. That's not PM on the leaves is it? Love the autumn colours.
I just spritzed with some Lost Coast as there were some spots on lower leaves. Nothing major. Excise and remove is typical protocol.

That's why outdoor is such a pain in the ass. You have a window before things can turn, whether you like it or not.

Hence, chop is usually dictated by weather or other conditions.

There's a Japanese Maple in our yard that's covered in PM. I don't go anywhere near it.
