Yeah they are pretty exposed with just tomato cages. However the cages gives you something to anchor to if you want to wrap chicken wire around it for critter deterrent.

Great idea! Until they get big enough to not worry about damn chipmunks and others digging. I also have luck spraying deer/rabbit repellent around area. Chipmunks and alike were around yard but stayed away from plants. I would get this stuff @DMChiz a little stinky for a day but goes away.

I could see them being mildly annoying to squirrels, so that's always a win

I was thinking as additional anchor points for LST.

I’m gonna start everything in the greenhouse this year. Get canopies set and keep the vermin out for the first little bit.

I put rabbit wire or chicken wire around risers to keep critters and creepy crawlers out, easier to move the cloth bags.
Really like the plastic 15-20 gal whiskey barrel planters because you can roll them around. Used to use a dolly for the cloth bags.

Just picked up a few of these puppies. Put two together and they seem pretty sturdy. Liked that the bottom was open for airflow.

My back has already thanked me for this purchase.

OilStorm is starting to swell, and the 12/12 LVTKO is stacking up like crazy.
The stem rubs on the LVTKO have a citric aroma that runs the whole range, then a bit beyond your capability to smell it.
It also lingers on your fingers long after the OilStorm has faded.

Close but still not quite there. 10 more days I reckon. The landing gear is down and they are well within their glide path.

Gotta admit that the HPS-style aura of the VL's make the plants look too yellow in the pictures ... but those lights do grow fat flowers.

But regardless of nomenclature, their Chop Day is imminent. They just need to show that light golden aura then the saw comes out. Somebody has to smoke all that bud!

I've been in grow suspension for awhile. This survived my last germination attempt. I repotted it, burying as much stalk as possible, which gives you an idea how stretched it was. It's never been fed in 90 days of life lol. Thst changed today.

On Flip Day (Feb 22), I estimated Chop Day to be on April 28th. The vast majority of the primary tops showed that "dirty look" this morning and thus, the world once again appears upside down on The Shores.
