So a little update on the terrace girls:

La Bella is looking a bit better but not much. Apart from being drought hit and unattended i think she got hot soil from over ferting. New growth was still giving some burnt tips after being attended again so i tried flushing; didnt do much but i recalled the high ec of water around here so gor some distilled water from the shop and some fron my dehuey and gave it a good 8 liters of flush between evening and morning. It looks better now, nicer look on new growth but now we got so much wind that i got other issues showing up on leaves.

This is my sativa hopes so really hope they are going to finish in something; by october light is less and possible renovations may be problematic for finishing.

Earls is looking quite nice, considering a month and a half ago it looked worse than La Bella again due to not attending/being away. Ill push some more nutes on next watering as new growth is a little pale.

Finished taking down the 2 earlier Appalachia/ Green Crack plants.
Second round of trimming, stuffed the Koolatron to the brim.
Just smoked the finger hash and I'm twitching in my seat.
Probably ought to blend it with some other pot in the evening.

We are making plans for the next grow. I was looking through my seed collection, I think Slymer, Polar Gelato, Mixed nuts and one of my crosses.
Seriously thinking of going with a commercial soil like happy frog. Definitely going back to SIP pots. As soon as the low temps stay in the 60's we'll be popping beans. The summer grow was disappointing. I got some decent pot but the heat and humidity kept the buds loose and larfy. Most of it will be made into brownies. Scratch 5 gallon SIP pots, they've been sitting outside for a couple of years and started to disintegrate. So 4 gallon SIP pots it is.

Got a second drain kit for the 2x4, only need 2-3(veg) trays and add a 5th to the 4x4 if I need to again.
Pump is easily replaced if needed, flexible tubing makes it easy to clean around.
Not a bad kit for what you get.

Why grow outside? I have something living inside the branches and stems of fan leaves and dropping poop out of little holes. New one to me. Reminds me of squash borers but they would have to be smaller than that. Probably not worth it to me to keep.

REBOOT!!

My first clone attempt with Remo rooting gel ended up as a fail. I think I put too much on the ends 2 weeks ago cause 6 of the 8 stems (three each of the BC & RD ) turned grey and mushy. Voice inside you is playing Sad Trombone? Go ahead, I deserve that for suffocating - and probably poisoning - the tender stem ends.

There are still one of each that might survive - but this morning, I needed to grab a few cuts after 13 days in 12/12. And this time, I gently "scraped" all the excess rooting gel off the prepped stem end. There was a light blue tint and not a large bead.

But with these cuts coming from out the flower tent, I am gonna have to give these ladies at least 3 weeks to flip hormones around and throw roots out. I have the time ...

And yes, that is a little oily film at the top of that coffee - 1/2 tsp of cannabutter will do that.

Yesterday morning, those little fans were resting on the edge of the starter pots. Today, they are giving me a wave.

No need to wait the nearly 3 weeks for the flowering clones to root - although they are doing really well. And I won't have to worry about managing that clusterfuck of branches that come from a Monster Crop.

Re-set the tents for winter, Maui in 2x4. I'll transplant into the buckets in a week or so.
First male SR-71 put aside & cut back, think there's probably 2 more still to show.
Forgot to water regularly, I'm so used to automation.

La bella has recovered but is a little late into flower due to light pollution. I hope i have enough time for her to finish properly. Been a breeze to work with honestly, very vigorous

Plants are much happier today after repot and bumping up EC.
Supposed to have very little stretch, makes planning easy.
Still waiting for hairs or ball to show on a couple.
Probably use the earlier male for seeds anyway, vigorous and smelly.

I did some heavy pruning on my clones. Still have three weeks before they can go in the big tent.
