Random Stream of Consciousness

Morning folks.

We've left the desert like conditions of the Okanagan Valley and are getting back into The Snow Cappers.

Cranbrook by tonight then Banff and Yoho National parks for the next few days.

And I gotta admit - it's been really nice getting high in BC on Ontario grown pot.

Happy Saturday everyone,

Nice enough here, but holy hell this wind is no joke. Good thing the greenhouse is strapped to the fence.

The Greenhouse Gals came around after their first bending this morning.

That’s a good reminder @BarnBuster - gotta start doing preventative spritzes of Lost Coast around this stage too.

Be good to each other.

It's hot hot hot here. Pridefest is in full swing 2 blocks away, the music is loud and clear! Got a bunch of stuff planted and watered, cleaned up my garden a bit. Out of promix so I'm busting up some old root balls to repot my curry plant which is dry every day and going nuts.View attachment 16919View attachment 16920View attachment 16921View attachment 16922
Nice, catching all that rain water, good idea for finding some soil in a quick minute. Something about rain water just makes everything explode it seems. Looking good 👍

Congrats! If you caught the bug ill recommend this:

The annual moose migration of Sweden is televised since a few years back. Youre too late to catch it live this year.
Its heart wrenchingly slow, which is actually the whole appeal: 9.2 at IMDB.

Watch for multiple skid marks, best sign of where to see moose when driving.
Usually a wallow nearby, they love the organic mud coating to keep the blackflies off.
They will sleep in one of these all day. Almost drove over one on a logging road, he was sound asleep.
Look like a boulder till the head pops up & blinks at you.

In that 3rd shot, you can see the matted mud on his back from his morning wallow.
This was late afternoon but it had rained. Might have taken an afternoon mud bath. There was enough of it.
Second thing you see is how a half a ton of animal can hide behind a shrub like a ghost.
2 more steps and its invisible.
Amazing how fast that happens. Those long skinny legs just blended into those thin young trees "like that".
