My grow plan .. I'm going to work on 3 categories of plants. I plan to grow a Cure all your ails pheno,
a high thc pheno, and an in between daytime\night time\good time\any time pheno. I envision a lot of smoking in my future.
Any thoughts, Ideas or suggestions on this are highly welcomed.

Do you have access to clones? I'd start there and look for strains dialed to the effects you're looking for.

I have some seeds.. I first selected seeds for mood enhancement, then for high thc content, based on reviews and claimed thc content, then selected for claimed aromas and flavor profiles. I have more regular seeds then I will ever personally grow, but will use for backcrossing and stabilization(hopefully I get that far). I have candidates for each category, some i've crossed myself.. now I get to see what happens, well, eventually.. hopefully.

Afghani #1, Blackberry Moonrocks, Chillout OG #4, Gorilla Glue #4, and I just came across 3 seeds of Chem Cake I forgot I had, then 4 crosses I made called Tropical Dream, Alien Wormhole , Snow Kuki and Krystal Berry Glaze. I have some other crosses but these are my favorites so far.

I have a little experience with GG#4. It was one of my favourite strains for falling asleep. Not crazy high THC, but it knocked me out.

I was thinking of crossing that with Blackberry moonrocks, supposedly high thc content

I've started looking into terpene content and profiles in cannabis strains to help shape the end result. The more I go down the rabbit hole, the more I want to steer the direction of what I'm doing. Terps only mattered to me for getting a smell profile, but after reading articles like this I've changed my mind.

Definitely look into specific terpenes. Limonene I find energizing and usually have a good taste. Needs to be on what your thinking of doing when getting new stuff,like list of them on package. Instead of just THC %. These terpenes worked for day time use pain and energy.

Knowing how each one impacts me personally is key. You’re right @Dboybudz things like Limonene make me happy (and want to do a little jig) but smoke Terpinolene dominant strains and I’ll forget my kids names

My Wife consumes to help with sleep and relaxation so I’ll focus on heavy Myrcene stuff for her.

You’ve gotta like what you smoke at the end of the day.

A worthwhile pursuit @RickM so if you need a hand testing the results, just holla

Ain't that the truth! I have bags of permanent marker that I can't smoke. Tastes like ass!

I can holla.. I mentioned somewhere I'm not a smoker, I'm a toker, lol.. so a couple hits do me fine.

I'm going to make a list of the strains I have, do some background research on the terpenes in their lineage, make a list of terpene profiles I want, then see if I have a combination of those mixes available to me or I need to purchase seeds for something missing.
