Hello everyone, just dropping in to say hello from Canada and check out the new place. I am a medical grower in Ontario and currently have a few things growing. Got a preservation run going currently on BOGBubble. 12 plants with 5 males in an open pollination. Collected 43.1 grams of pollen so far from the run. Also have some Skywalker OG, BOGBubble, Pancakz, LSD, Jack Herer and Kush 5 X Sunshine Daydream running for some buds. Here is my current BOGBubble run. Nice to see some familiar faces.

Hello @Bareback , I am just wrapping up a preservation run on BOGBubble. I will likely run them another week for the seeds to keep ripening. They got a bit neglected over the holiday season but still made it through, lol.

I pulled a test branch last night to check things out.

Broke it down and got 238 seeds from it.

So that run is about done. I do have a tent in my basement I just flipped into flower. I am running some BOGBubble, Jack Herer, Pancakz, Skywalker OG, Kush 4 x Sunshine Daydream and LSD in there. Got to thin that tent out soon as it's very overloaded but should end up with a variety of smoke in the end. I really enjoyed the Pancakz last time I grew it so really looking forward to some more of it.

Some folks say I’m weird but I like to smoke seeded weed sometimes. When I do a seed run of a strain that I’ve been growing it change’s it up a bit, both adding to and taking away from the normal buzz of that strain. I’ve got a sativa that I’ve been growing for years, I don’t know what it is because it was a bag seed but I’m pretty sure it is a Mexican land race ( just a guess ) because of the source of the bag. But it’s a great day time working buzz . I’ve been trying forever to get it to finish in 9 weeks but I can’t it’s always 12 weeks or more and will go 14-16 before it starts throwing nanners. It’s pretty consistent with the phenos from seed to seed, the only thing that changes is when it seeded and when it’s not.

Wow, 16 weeks is so long but if it gives you the smoke you love, why not. It's pretty cool that it's a mystery strain. Back in my teens we didn't really call anything by name, it was just weed.

In the late 70’s we had three strains…. dirt, brick and homegrown.

Bud run starting to bud, I love this part. Got some Kush 4 x Sunshine Daydream, Jack Herer, BOG LSD, BOGBubble and Skywalker OG. I will take one of my 3 Kush 4 x Sunshine Daydream I picked and hit it with some BOGBubble pollen this weekend to create BodhiBubble. Time will tell how that goes, lol.

Plants are progressing nicely.

I just finished my BOGBubble reproduction run and AI mislabeled it BODHIBUBBLE, lol. Since it did that I decided to select one of my 3 Bodhi Kush 4 x Sunshine Daydream plants and hit it was some BOGBubble pollen to create BodhiBubble, lol. Here is the female I selected. I just loved the look of her.

Pollen took well so it will be interesting to see what this creates, lol. The things we do on a whim. Ignore the plants hanging in the back. Had fans blasting on them for a week to try them right out and make it easier to get the seeds from them. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. TTFN

To be honest I have no idea. I grow strictly indoors due to my grow license. So I have never grown them outdoors.

LOL, I think you are giving me too much credit but thanks. I do have a daily giveaway thread on OG which people seem to like. I recently opened up a second thread called the pollen palace where I give out a pack of pollen every day or so. I have way to much pollen stacked up, lol. I have been slacking on that a bit the last couple weeks because I am helping a guy offload his CSI Fem seed collection. 307 sealed breeder packs are being sold. It's third and final part started today and will run until Fri or Sat. It's been keeping me hopping. When it's over and the dust settles I will be firing up my yearly Veterans giveaway. It's my way of saying thanks to all those who served.

I like the idea of shipping pollen. Can you tell us a little more about that? What are some things to consider, liabilities, etc.
How do you store pollen and for how long?

I typically wont store pollen for more than a few weeks. Nothing fancy, I just keep it in an airtight container, and in a cool dry pantry.

I typically wont store pollen for more than a few weeks. Nothing fancy, I just keep it in an airtight container, and in a cool dry pantry.

For short term I keep it in a cool closet in my basement sealed in an air tight container that has a gasket. I keep a rechargeable dehumidifier in with it.

For long term I put it into plastic vials which I put into small ziplock baggies. Then into a glass jar and into the freezer.

I collect between 2 and 4 oz per run.
