My lettuce game is improving. It's so easy to grow like this. This is Black Seeded Simpson, a classic leaf lettuce. It's definitely a sustainable low input way to keep provisioned. A 200w panel at 60% is plenty. My biggest challenge is this horizontal array has to be carefully shimmed so the flow doesn't back out of the grow site holes, I had a couple floods lol. The vertical rails have much more flow from gravity. The reservoir is 15 gallons or so, just maxigrow and some hydroguard. I have an Apera meter installed in one growsite to keep on top of PPM. 6 or 700 ppm is a sweet spot.
