Bookmarked. Interesting.Okay, I've been having some fun with numbers to figure out the humidity post chop.
You're a numbers guy @Shane Karmann so you might find this interesting.
Two Plants hang dried in the same space at the same temps & conditions.
Harlequin:
Hang dried for 7 days
Internal branch moisture meter reading of 18%
Trimmed & jarred same day
Internal Humidity in jar 24 hr after trim - 47%
G13:
Hang dried 10 days
Internal branch moisture meter reading of 29%
Trimmed & jarred same day
Internal humidity in jar 24 hr after trim - 61%
So what have we gleaned from this? Well, for one, if a process calls for 11% branch moisture (lookin' at you grove bags), that is gonna be dust.
With four plants still to be chopped, I’m glad I’m looking at the math, because it doesn’t math.
That’s the conundrum, there isn’t really a definitive conclusion. What conclusions have you made? How will you adjust for next round? My mind would imagine there are variables not being considered in play here and I would fret over it until they are alljarredsmoked.![]()
Sorry - which part?Leaves three, let it be! I hate this part.
Seedlings lol.Sorry - which part?
Gotcha ...Seedlings lol.
With not needing to pop any beans for a few years, I find myself exhibiting the exuberance of a total NOOB at the appearance of the first set of fans. And I also get to answer that total NOOB question too ...Seedlings lol.
