Lookin’ good @Cronk - 👏🏻

I think imma keep these out for at least another week or two. My hang dry location is not available Oct. 31 - Nov. 2 so gotta figure this one out soon.

Thanks to my backup, who does nothing to continue fixing problems or implementing the new shit when I am on Bala vacay, I have spent the past two days heads down fixing the same SAML and RDP issues that existed before I left. And that means I am not able to look at or tend to weed plants or shitpost on Random ... BOO!!

Enter WioW.

The Externals might be coming down real soon. The temperature was 7C @ 7:28 this morning and we are only at 10C three and a half hours later. They finally got a taste of that October chill required to coax them along. Both have a boatload of fans that yellowed overnight and the flowers are looking more rounded and cloudy compared to yesterday.

The cloudy is a little more evident in this pic

And they are getting pretty fragrant too. The BC is a far leafier strain than the RD so there will be much more time spent in Trim Jail. It's just one of the things that we endure for our loved ones.

Nice job. I was a bit worried you'd lose the plants.

well the ugly plants are still.....ugly.
I made a slight change in the watering timer. I've kicked up the amount to around 3/4 gallon per shot. That way I get a little overflow through the weep hole which runs out into the drain trays. I have a fan blowing across the trays which gives me some much needed humidity. Also I can check at a glance and know the timer worked and all is well. So far about the time the run-off dries up, bam another shot of water.
Looks like we're finally getting some respite from the heat, temps in the tent have been close to a hundred. These poor plants have spent most of their life with high temps around a 100F and low humidity. They are decidedly un-frosty. I'm hoping with cooler temps and a few more weeks of good conditions they will improve. right now they kind of look like Bill the cat.

I am determined to get some viable pot from these girls.

Morning folks.

We hit 0 the previous night and -2C overnight and it looks like my Blue Cheese babies liked the drop in temps. The upper colas were really speckled this morning.

Temps are supposed to rise a little so I might leave 'em for another day or two.

@DMChiz ... how did your crew handle the cool overnight temps?

I was so focused on the outdoor plants these past couple of weeks that I forgot that I have two going in the tent. I am trying the single VL cranked up full @ 20" above the canopy for this run. PPFD shows just under 720 on the VSensor. They must like it cause the fans are praying and I have a couple of really messy ladies. But they are starting to stack nicely ...

... lollipop coming within the next 10 days. I can see a pretty substantial clean-up come that time.

Very nice. How is your drying crop doing?

Last pics of the ugly plants before my train trip. The auto water system is working as planned. They are perking up.
It looks like 24 gallons is good for at least 30 days. I'll be gone for 15 days, no worries there, and the weather forecast is excellent.
I'm confident that there may not be a disaster while I'm gone, might even have a couple of nice buds.

Manicure, jarring and finger hash slated for this Saturday AM.
The manicure may have been SLATED for Saturday ... but Mrs. Cronk wanted to leaf peep as things are getting much redder out there and the weather was nice. And apparently, dried yellow cannabis fans were not the leaves she was referring to - something about maples and ash and oaks. So we toured the Kawartha Lakes region and peeped all those OTHER leaves. Then we saw Simply Skynyrd do all of Lynyrd Skynyrds big hits at the Blue Heron Tribute Stage and I ran out of time.

So Cronk got up at 5:18, brewed the big pot of coffee, gave the pair of Fiskar's and the corn broom their pep talk and got down to it. Fast forward to 5+ hours later ...
