Old ski hill? Looks like lots of snowmobile tracks. And the cable is gone from the towers. Cool spot to hang

Iron mountain. Lol I forgot them at the house and didn't want to turn around and get them. I just got terrible news today from a friend in Mammoth. The patroller that was injured in the avalanche mitigation didn't make it. She was a young rookie and was taken off life-support at the beginning of this week.
Another friend of mine who worked as Woolly, one of the Mammoth mascots also passed away the beginning of this week from pneumonia.

A friend of mine used to shop for new skis every Christmas.
He pick the tallest , loudest, richest drunk at the lounge during lunch and steal his top dollar skis, lift ticket and jacket.
Even the drunk's alledged friends would be laughing, glad they could dump him and go skiing again.
The cops lost any interest in looking, deciding he probably just misplaced them, lol.

I've skied there in June.....weird snow when it's above 70°
The new lift is going in on superstar. The old one is moving to Pico. And they are replacing the old cabins on the gondola. No world cup there next season because of it. It's good the new owners seem like they're gonna do good for the mountain.
