Figured I should get the big tent fired up again. This is supposed to be the original Doja Permanent Marker cut just moved into the big tent on Sunday and I'll flip to 12/12 tomorrow and get the irrigation system hooked up by Saturday. Cloning was hit and miss this summer, I think the heat was getting me a bit, so they're not very consistent in size. I'll give the couple taller ones a bit of a trim before flipping.

Day five of flower. I didn't get the manifolds hooked up this weekend. Might try tonight, we'll see. It's hard to motivate myself to be in the basement when it's nice outside.

Day 11 of flower. Just starting to see the first flowers. I've hooked up the manifold, I didn't have the union tight enough and had a little leak on the first run. Sounded like a machine gun going off lol.

Day 19 flower. Did a res change on Saturday and switched to full strength flower nutrients. Also cleaned up under the canopy a bit. Ended up filling a 5g pail with plant material.

I only purchased a liter for testing. Kinda regretting that now

I use 125ml per res refill every 10 to 12 days. I would be near the bottom of a liter by now.

I’m using 78ml probably enough for one more grow. I have to buy some floralicious plus for next grow. I’ll grab a gallon of kb at the same time

I bought a liter of it too. I'm trying to decide if I do my next run (Zkittelz, Original Glue), with GH Flora or continue with Peters. But it is designed for GH Flora

Day 24 of flower and it starting to smell already! Older leaves are starting to get a dark. they should go deep purple/black by harvest.

Under normal circumstances, I think I'd just abandon this journal and pick up on the next grow.

But I figured I'd share my comedy of errors that have roasted this grow.

A little over a week ago I changed the controller for my tent to the new ACI AI controller. Everything went smoothly and I was happy. Then late last week I started noticing problems and they were coming fast. What I discovered is when programming the controller, I somehow managed to set the lights to go off at 10pm as they were before, but the on time was 12am. Only two hours of darkness.

Managed to get that straight and my guardian told me it needs calibration. Get my solution set and the probe will not go below 5ph. The probe can't detect 4.0 solution so it kicks up ERR and won't calibrate. Great! Ordered a new probe and that's sorted, but I don't think my ph was was in range.

The coup de grace was my condensate pump dying right in the middle of the flush. Over 5 gallons of nutrient solutions on the table and it just died and started spilling onto the floor. Great again!

Will it recover? Who knows. My clones aren't ready for the big tent yes so I'm just letting it ride out.

It's good you got to document these problems so others know what can happen and to be aware of. Also learned don't need expensive probe can get cheaper one for replacing so that's good. Hopefully they won't reveg on ya and still get something great. I'm thinking you should be good. Always learning..

I purchased the Aprea Instruments probe. Please to find out that any BNC ph probe works with the guardian. 1/3 the cost of the bluelab probe.

ouch thats rough, as long as you dont see any signs of reveg your probably okay.

I need a couple more weeks on the clones I have brewing so I can be patient and see what they do.

Valuable lesson learned. Don't make significant environmental changes mid grow. And double check all settings.
